Jubilation Barbershop quartet formed in 1995. They performed together until 2010 when they decided to disbanded due to family commitments. Jubilation reunited in the fall of 2015 and made the Bluewater Chordsmen’s Annual Benefit Christmas Concert in December their first public appearance. All four members of Jubilation are active and devoted members of the Sarnia Bluewater Chordsmen. All act as directors, coaches, section leaders, serve on the Music Committee and are also part of the chapter executive. We are all Ontario District Barbershoppers of ReKnown . The quartet provides the foundation for the newly formed Bluewater Chordsmen ensemble “Briarfield Boys.” The members of Jubilation love the thrill and excitement of singing well and performing for great audiences.
Jubilation practices on a weekly basis. They have a repertoire of familiar tunes including everything from old and new secular music to traditional hymns and gospel music. Our goal is to sing well, perform well and bring smiles to those in the audience.
Jubilation has been very active over the years. Their biggest thrill was to be the opening act for John McDermott at the Dow People Place in 1995. Over the years we have sung at banquets, for service club meetings, seniors groups and performed in many churches. Jubilation has delivered many singing valentines over the years as well.

Through the Sarnia Bluewater Chordsmen’s "Harmonize for Speech" service project, we assist people with speech and hearing difficulties and also supports student music programs.
